Busy!

Hey Chos,

Sorry that I haven't posted recently!!! I've been super busy with school, family, and work drama! I'm back and ready to start posting again!

Most of you already know this, but I won the Agent poll and became an Agent! I'm glad to be back on the team! I missed agency!

The tropical party was a blast! We was 4 away from reaching 25 players! If we reached 25 players, the Staff was going to rain a special item!! That's too bad, but maybe we will reach that many at the next party! Here are some pictures from the party:

Captain Chokru sailed back home, resulting in the tropical storm coming to an end! Chotopia is back to normal! Captain's Chokru's ship is still there with the pirate stash, but he isn't!

There are two competitions going on right now! A Nicho's competition is up until Feburary 1st and a Robot's Arena competition until tomorrow(January 31st) The Robot's Arena competition will reward the top 3 winners(teams) unlike the Nicho's competition, which will only reward 1st place! You better get started as these competitions will end soon!!!!

New Journalists amd Agent Poll!

Hey Chos,


The Staff has judged and chosen the January Journalists! Congratulations to me(lol), Bebot, Tacodung, and Omiguy! We received a Journalist badge, a feather, and a striped blue playercard along with a purple name tag! If you didn't get it this time, don't worry!! February is coming up and you can apply for Journalist then!

In my earlier post, I talked about the Staff looking for Agents!!! Well, they have chosen eight Agents and have added them to a poll for the community to vote for who they think is the best fit for agency!!! Here is the Agent Poll:

This is the poll just as of now. It will change, so you can check it out for yourself!  To get to the Agent Poll, go to chotopia.us and at the main top, click here. That is the link to the Agent Poll. You may or may not have to log in!

Good luck to all!!!! If you don't get agency this time, don't worry. There will be more polls later on! Also, do not cheat!!!! There will be consequences!

The filters are messed up in-game on Chotopia, so if you get a warning and didn't say anything wrong, do not worry! If you know what words are banned, report them to staff so they can fix it! If you get a warning, then your word or phrase did not show up in the chat log and no one saw it except for Staff. If you get a warning in a private message, then the person can see the message if that makes sense!

The Sweet Battle Competition is still going on! It ends on January 11th. Start now!!! If you play someone more than once, the points go down and you will not get a full point. The more you play the same person, the more the points go down! This is to keep players from cheating!

January Journalists!!!!

Hey Chos,


As you all should know, our previous Journalists were slacking!!! The Journalists thought they could get away with it, but they were wrong. All of their Journalist badges were removed, resulting in no more Journalists! So, the Chotopia team is looking for Journalists!

Here are the requirements:
- You cannot copy from any other website or blog, including the main blog!
- You must update your blog weekly! If not, let the staff know if you have a valid excuse!
- Make your posts fun and creative! Be you! Use good grammar!
- You have to have one active author and no more than 3 authors!

By the way, images from the main blog can be used on your blog!

Pros of being a Journalist:
- Journalist Badge on your playercard!
- Playercard cover!
- Feather hand item!
- Contact staff members through private chat, even if their playercard is blocked!
- Your blog will be book marked by staff members!
- Your blog will be listed on the main blog!
- Purple name tag!

Only the main author will be awarded with the Journalist badge unless another author has also put in a lot of hard work and effort.

To apply for Journalism, go to the main blog and comment on their January Journalists blog post with this information:
- Site Address
- Title of Site
- Site Owner
- Site Contributors
- Opened
- Why do you feel your blog should be featured?

I'm back! Pirates!

Hey Chos,


I know it has been a while since I've posted. I know I've been inactive for quite some time just popping in and out. Now, I'm back to stay! Permanently! I love Chotopia and I regret taking a vacation- I guess you could say.

Pirates have landed in Chotopia, taking over Café Street and Mission Street! The Pirate Ship landing resulted in a tropical storm!

Here is Café Street! It is raining in Café Street, which causes lag for some but I haven't had any problems with lagging.

Here is Mission Street. The rope latter is what you have to climb to get to the Pirate Ship.

And here is the Pirate Ship! As you can see on the far right, there is a pirate. That is Captain Chokru! He is the new quest! His ship crash and he wants you to find fresh timber! The quest was glithced- walking differently while holding the wood and being invisible while walking very slow! Shadow fixed it, so there is nothing to worry about now!

The Chotopia team has decided to host a competition for every week in the month of January! But, it is a little different from previous times. Only the first place winner will receive a prize! That means you will have to be very competitive as there will be a lot of competition going on!

Here are the dates and competitions that will be going on in the month of January!

January 7th- Sweetbattle Competition

January 14th- Cow Mission(Farming) Competition

January 21st- Asteroid Competition

January 28th- Nichos Mission Competition

There has been an Agent wipe out. There are only two agents as of now, Blaine and Realm. They have been rewarded with Elite Agency since they survived the agent purge!!! So, by saying that, the Chotopia team is looking for active members of the community who:

The Chotopia team is keeping a close eye on who all would make great agents! First, they will elect someone agent and then they will host a poll for the runner-up players! There also maybe more than one winner on the poll!!!

Sliders Competition Results, Asteroid Competition + Results, Forum Art Competition, and April Poetry Contest!

I'm sorry that I have been behind posting, so I will be posting all of the latest Chotopia news!


The Sliders Competition Results are in! These Chobots have been very competitive, day and night!
Here are the winners:
1st Place: Becookie! 7 days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs!
2nd Place: Dary11! 5 days of citizenship, 3,500 bugs!
3rd Place: Devin! 3 days of citizenship, 2,000 bugs!

Please congratulate all of the hard-working, competitive winners who made an excessive amount of points by playing fairly!


There was an Asteroid Competition and the results are in! These Chobots have worked very hard and have been very competitive, day and night!

Slider's Competition + St. Patrick's Day and Easter Party Recap!

Hey Chos,

A Slider's Competition is now active at this moment as it has been a while since we have had one of these contests! Beat other Chos by knocking their sliders off of the board! You have until March 31 until the competition ends! This competition is very intense with some Chos already having over 40 points! Good luck to all participants!


The St. Patrick's Day/ Easter Party was a blast with so many users that attended and the Staff that made it possible! There were lots of rain and magic, including magic never seen before! Half of the party was held on Cafe Street as we moved to the Agents' Underground to finish out the party and have a game of Pictionary! If a Cho answered a question right, they were moved on the Agent wall with a point beside of them. The Cho who got 3 points won! The Chos who were on the wall at the end were the only ones who could answer the questions and no more Chos were allowed up on the wall. All the Chos on the wall received wings of their choice of color and a certain amount of bugs! The Chos who weren't on the board had the chance to catch the same wings when they rained! Everyone had a blast! Thanks to all the Staff and every Cho who attended!

Garbage Collector Contest Winners, Elite Agent, Comic Competition Winners, and St. Patrick's Day + Easter Party!

The Garbage Collector contest has came to an end! Thanks to the winners and participants, Chotopia is free from garbage! Here is the scoreboard:

The Team decided to create a new rank that is higher than an Agent, but lower than a Moderator! Elite Agent! I became the first Elite Agent!

As you can see, there is a new badge for Elite Agents! Also, Elite Agents have a black nametag/chat! Shadow created the Elite Agent Badge! Good job Shadow because it is awesome!

Shadow decided to make the Agent, Elite Agent, Moderator, Designer, and Developer Badges shine when you click on a Chobot's Playercard!

The Citizenship Badge Rain created has now been replaced with the original Citizenship Badge!

Swish hosted a Comic Competition on the Forum! It has ended! Here are the winners and runner-ups:

St. Patrick's Day is on March 17th and Easter is on March 27th, so the Team decided to throw a party in between both holidays! Join us at Cafe Street on Saturday, March 26th at 10 PM CHO-TIME

(5PM EST, 2PM PST) Don't forget your green, as the Team will be picking winners with the best outfits to reward! This party will have never before seen Moderator Magic and so much more! Make sure you attend! Hope to see you all there!
